This year, Community Pet Healthcare (CPH) and Indy Pet Core (IPC) are teaming up to raise money for our four-legged dogs in blue.
The K-9 units of the Boone County Sheriff’s department are in need of life-saving emergency first-aid kits. These kits would be carried at all times by their handlers in case of an emergency on-the-job.
These kits contain first-aid medical supplies such as: gauze, bandages, oxygen/oxygen mask, splints, tourniquets, blankets, and many more essential medical items.
CPH/IPC needs to raise $1,000 to fund the creation of these kits for each K-9.
How you can help: we are taking donations through PayPal for this project. You can donate by following the link here.
You can also donate next time you are visiting CPH or IPC. At either location you have the option to purchase a bandanna for $12 and proceeds will go to this fund. All the bandannas are handmade by one of our very own Registered Veterinary Nurses, Ashlee and IPC Manager, Megan.
Every donation will go to help protect the K-9s who work everyday to protect us. Meet them below:
Arco is a two year old German Shepherd. He is a hard worker and loves working with his handler every day! In his free time he loves exercising and playing in water!
Zino is the oldest of the K9 officers at four years old. His favorite treat is squeeze cheese!
Chase is a laid back one year old bloodhound. Chase loves playing in water when he’s not on the job!
Zeke loves playing tug of war with his handler! He is a three year old German Shepherd.
Maxx is a three old German Shepherd Belgian Malinois mix. He enjoys playing ball and showing off his gorgeous eyes.
