Dr. Perkins grew up in Greenfield, Indiana, with a deep love for animals, starting with her Schnauzer, Coco.
She attended Purdue University, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Animal Sciences and went on to complete her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Throughout her education, Dr. Perkins worked as a veterinary assistant and interned with Merck Animal Health, gaining experience in both small animal and specialty hospital settings. Her passion for veterinary medicine is complemented by her love for building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
Outside of work, Dr. Perkins enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Nick, and their two dogs, Forrest and Elmer. She also enjoys gardening, exploring new foods, and traveling to Disney World.
